Eira Rua comes from one of the main coffee-growing regions in Brazil, which ranks 2nd in the country. This region, with an area of 2,300,259 km², is home to approximately 2.3 million inhabitants, of which more than 4,500 are producers dedicated to growing coffee. The most common varietals are Bourbon, Mundo Novo and Catuaí, and 99.9% of production is concentrated in the Arabica species.
The region is known for the quality of its coffees and the meticulous care of its producers, who harvest around 219,449 hectares with great dedication. The main harvest season in Eira Rua is from July to October, taking advantage of the optimal climatic conditions to obtain top-quality coffee.
